Ministry of Home Affairs has released Notification for IB Recruitment 2018 for the post of Security Assistant (Executive) . There are total 1054 vacancies for this posts. The application procedure for IB Recruitment is online. You can fill up the application forms from 20.10.2018 and the last date for applying this post is 10.11.2018 (till 11:59 PM) you can apply now! If you want a career with the prestigious Intelligence Bureau and want to be appointed as Security Assistant (Executive) .  All such candidates must have registered on or before the closing date.

Eligibility criteria

Educational Qualification:

(i) Candidate must have Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education, and
(ii) Knowledge of any one of the local language/dialect against each SIB/ centre of examination: They should be able to read, write and speak in that  language/dialect 

Age Limit (10 Nov 2018)

Not exceeding 27 years

Age Relaxations as per the Ministry of Home Affairs rules.

SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years

Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 (PB-1) plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.

Marks and Exam Pattern

Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern for IB Recruitment

You will have to go through 3 stages of the exam.

The 3 stages of Exam will be as follows:

1. Written Exam of objective type MCQs-Tier-I
2. Descriptive paper and language test-Tier-II
3. Interview-Tier-III

Tier I- Written Exam of objective type

The Tier I Stage will be a written exam of 2 hours. This exam will have four different sections consisting of 100 marks.

• A total of 100 questions will be asked in this exam.
• This is an Objective Test.
• There will be negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer. 
• A candidate is allowed to appear for Tier II only after qualifying Tier I.
• There would be cut-off marks (out of 100) in Tier-I exam as under: UR-35, OBC-34 & SC/ST-33 (all Ex-servicemen would be treated in their own category viz., UR/OBC/SC/ST).

Note - On the basis of their performance in Tier-I exam, candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II & Tier-III exam at 10 times the number of vacancies.

Tier II

Tier-II examination will be of qualifying nature.

• The Mains Exam will be of 50 marks.
• This is a Written Descriptive Paper.
• The Minimum Qualifying Marks 20/50 Marks so that their marks in Tier-III could be taken into account for preparing final merit list.
