Film Divisions will launch KSHITIJ, a documentary film club in Mumbai.
The acclaimed documentary film "Secret Life of Frogs" by Ajay and Vijay Bedi screened as the inaugural film.
The club will be launched by Films Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, in association with Indian Documentary Producer's Association (IDPA).
With this, movie lovers will now have an opportunity to watch acclaimed documentary films and also to interact with the film's director.
The Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Vikas Swarup as Secretary (Consular passport, visa and Overseas Indian affairs) in the External Affairs Ministry with effect from August 1, 2019.
He will succeed Sanjiv Arora.
Swarup is a 1986-batch Indian Foreign Services (IFS) officer.
He is at present India's High Commissioner in Ottawa.
