The draft state water policy was approved by the Meghalaya State Cabinet chaired by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma.

The objective of the policy is to recognize water resources as common pool resource, to provide safe and hygienic water for drinking, domestic, sanitation & livelihood development to all residents of the state, ensure the protection and conservation of catchment areas of all water sources to prevent degradation of the quantity and quality of water sources.

Indian Naval Ship Tarkash arrived at Tangier, Morocco.

Indian has successfully tested the vertical steep dive version of the Brahmos supersonic cruise missile.

Mase in Inda 'Brahmos Aerospace' is also ready with a longer 500 km range version of the Brahmos missile 

India is now the only country in the world to integrate long-range missiles onto fighter jets after the BrahMos missile was test-fired from a Sukhoi 30 aircraft of the Indian Air force.

BrahMos Aerospace is a joint venture company owned by governments of India and Russia and its missiles are produced in India.

At the 46th Edition of Copa America, the host country, Brazil defeated Peru with 3-1 scores to clinch the Copa America Title 2019 in the finals held at Estadio do Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
