Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan from June 28-29.
This would be the sixth time that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be participating in the summit.
The summit will also be attended by Heads of State or government of member countries, EU and other invited nations and international organizations.
G-20 member are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Union, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the UK and the US.
The 2019 G-20 Osaka summit will be the 14th meeting of Group of Twenty (G-20).
It will be the first G20 summit to be hosted in Japan.

Kerala topped the NITI Aayog's Health States Ranking for healthiest State in India for the second time in a row while Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have emerged as the worst performing states.
Kerala was followed by Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra on the list.
The "Healthy States, Progressive India" report was released by NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Dr. Rajiv Kumar. It is the second edition of its State Health Index.
Haryana, Jharkhand, and Assam have emerged as the states which have improved the most while Chattisgarh has witnessed the least improvement among all states.

Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) Deputy Governor Viral Acharya has resigned from his post six months before the end of his tenure.
He was appointed as the RBI deputy governor by the government on January 23, 2017, for a three-year term.
He was in charge of the Financial Stability, Unit, Monetary Policy Department, Department of Economic and Policy Research, Financial Markets Operation Department, Financial Market Regulation Department, among others at the RBI.
The RBI has now left with three deputy governors N S Vishwanathan, B P Kanungo and M K Jain.

According to the Ericsson Mobility Report, India has the highest data usage per smartphone in the world, reaching 9.8 Giga Byte (GB) per month at the end of 2018.
The report also forecasts that this figure is likely to double to 18 GB per month per smartphone by 2024.
As per the Ericsson Mobility report, the total smartphone subscriptions in the region is likely to reach 1.1 billion by 2024, growing at 11% CAGR, while the total mobile broadband subscriptions in India are expected to grow from about 610 million in 2018 to 1.25 billion in 2024.
Increased numbers of LTE (Long Term Evolution) subscriptions, attractive data plans being offered by the service provider and young people's changing viewing habits were the reasons for the data usage.

Mohamed Ould Ghazouani has been elected as the president of Mauritania, won the presidential election with 52% votes.
He will succeed Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
His nearest rival, anti-slavery activist Biram Dah Abeid, stood second with 18.58% votes. and Sidi Mohamed Ould Boubacar, who is backed by the country's biggest Islamist party stood third with 17.87% votes.

The United Arab Emirates has become the first country in the Gulf to launch a new anti-money laundering reporting platform 'goAML'.
The platform is developed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to curb organised crimes.
All financial entities and Designated Non-Financial Business or Professions (DNFBPs) have to register on 'goAML' by 27th June 2019 to avoid penalties.
it will help the Financial Intelligence Unit of UAE to prevent money laundering, financing of terrorism and other illicit financial activities.

The World Bank has approved a $147 million loan agreement to the government of Jharkhand to provide urban services such as water supply, sewerage, drainage and urban road.
