Zuzana Caputova becomes 1st Female President of Slovakia

 

Zuzana Caputova has been selected as the first female President of Slovakia.

The 45-year old political novice won about 58.3% of voted ahead of the more politically savvy European commissioner Maros Sefcovic who took 41.7%.

Zuzana Caputova will take office in June.

India wins ICC Test Championship Mace

 

India has won ICC Test Championship Mace for the third successive year and a prize of USD 1 million after finishing at the top ICC Test team rankings on the cut-off date of April 1.

The runner up, New Zealand has won $500,000 prize money after finishing with 108 points.

South Africa finished 3rd with 105 points to clinch the award money of $200,000.

 

RNAM tied up with Google to launch voice-based financial transactions

 

Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management (RNAM), the first Indian Asset Management company tied up with Google to launch voice-based financial transactions.

RNAM becomes the first company in India, to provide a conversational interface that would help customers regarding funds transactions.

RBI sets NBFC-MFIs' average base rate at 9.21% for April-June

 

The Reserve Bank of India set the average base rate to be charged from borrowers by Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and Micro Finance Institutions (MFI) at 9.21% for the first quarter (April to June).

RBI declares average base rates on the last working day of every quarter, so the applicable average base rate to be charged by NBFCs and MFI to their borrowers from 1st April 2019.

Telangana tops in eLearning Training for Field Staff

 

Telangana has ranked number one for the second year in a row in the e-Learning training programme of Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India.

In e-Learning training, Telangana state secured this position by reaching to 20,000 field staff during 2018-19.

Dr. MCR HRD Institute enrolled over 20,000 field staff in different districts of the State to impart training on 12 soft skills modules and 3 domain-specific modules.
