Saurav Ghosal becomes 1st Indian Male to enter Top-10 in Squash

 

Saurav Ghosal became the first Indian male Squash player to enter the top 10 in latest PSA (Profesional Squash Association) world ranking.

Saurav Ghosal is ranked at 10th Place.

He made it to the quarter-finals of the 2018-2019 PSA World Championship which was held in Chicago, USA.

Egypt's world champion Ali Farag maintains his position at the top of the ladder.

Two Indian Women Squash player named Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal had elarlier reached top in the world rankings.

Tata Power signed a pact with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) for rooftop solar projects

 

Tata Power has signed an agreement with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) for green energy solutions icluding rooftop solar projects, setting up of commercial-scale EV charging/battery swapping stations

The agreement was signed in the presence of B C Tripathi, who is the chairman & MD, GAIL, between India's largest CNG distribution with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) Managing Director E S Ranganathan and India's largest integrated power utility firm Tata Power's CEO & MD Praveer Sinha.

South Korea Launches World's 1st National 5G Networks

 

South Korea launched the world's first nationwide 5G mobile networks.

Along with the US, China and Japan, South Korea had been racing to claim the title as the world's first provider of the ultra-fast network. According to Yonhap, the South Korea launches came two hours earlier.

The system will bring smartphones near-instantaneous connectivity 20 times faster than the existing 4G allowing users to download entire movies in leass than a second.

Pawan Munjal honoured by the Asian Tour with a 'Special Achievement Award'

 

Dr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has been honoured by the Asian Tour with a "Special Achievement Award" for his contributions to Asian Golf, at the concluding ceremony of Hero Indian Open Golf tournament,  held at Gurugram, Haryana.

Dr. Munjal was presented with a special salver by leading Indian golfer Shiv Kapur, representing the players on the Asian Tour.

The Indian Publishing company, Garuda Prakashan Private Limited, launched its two books "#Modi Again" and "Saffron Swords- Centuries of Indic REsistance to Invaders".

#Modi Again: Why Modi is right for India, An Ex-Communist's Manifesto' written by Aabhas Maldahiyar, states the reasons about how Narendra Modi is right for India.

"Saffron Swords: Centuries of Indic Resistance to Invaders" written by Manoshi Sinha Rawal is a book on 52 unsung warriors of India from last 1300 years.
