IBPS SO Prelims Exam Analysis 2018

IBPS SO Prelims Exam has successfully conducted on 30th December. The exam is conducting on various cites across the country. Many students appeared for this exam and the competition becomes very tough this time. IBPS SO Prelims 2018 Exam Syllabus

IBPS SO Prelim exam has three section Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English. There were 50 questions for 25 marks in English, 50 questions for 50 marks in Reasoning and 50 questions for 50 marks in Quantitative Aptitude and The total mark will be 125 within 120 minutes and the time limit of 40 minutes is fixed for each section. The examination held in this shift was Moderate level. 

English Language 

English Section was Moderate level. There were 2 sets of Reading Comprehension. one Reading Comprehension was based on millennials and jobs and the other one was based on e-commerce. Students need to chose what to do and what to skip wisely because in this section students need to maintain their accuracy. 

Reasoning

Reasoning Section was Easy to Moderate. There were 4 sets of Puzzles and Seating Arrangement, Puzzle was Month based (Person, Month and 3 Cities Variables)  and Parallel Row based, Seating Arrangement was Square seating based, ( 8 Persons, Middle Person facing inside and Corner Person Outside), Linear Seating ( single line).

Quantitative Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude was Moderate. There were 3 sets Data Interpretation (Pie Chart, Line Graph, Caselet DI), Miscellaneous Question was based on Boat and Stream, Profit and Loss, Average, SI & CI, etc.
