RRB ASM Application Process Exam
You can apply for RRB ASM Exam through Online mode only. To apply for RRB ASM exam, follow these steps
register through the official website of Railway Recruitment Board.
You need to pay the Application fee online using a Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / Cash Cards / Wallets or other online payment methods.
Make sure you use a valid email ID, which you have to keep active until the final declaration of results.
Keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per requirements mentioned in the official notification. You will have to upload these during filling the form.
Submit the Application Form.
Take out a Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.
Introduction
RRB or Railway Recruitment Board conducts a common exam to recruit Assistant Station Manager (ASM). This is a common exam to recruit for Assistant Station Master posts in various units of Indian Railways. Once selected, you will be hired as an Assistant Station Master in the Indian Railways.

Assistant Station Master (ASM) Salary and Perks
The post of Assistant Station Master (ASM) is a respectable one.
The initial pay is around Rs. 8,560/- and the pay scale which an Assistant Station Master (ASM) is entitled to Rs. 5,200/- to 20,200/-. The Grade Pay set by the Railway Recruitment Board is Rs. 2,800/-
Hence, you can say that a newly appointed Assistant Station Master gets a total pay of Rs 11,360/- along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance (TA).
ASM Job Description:
The Assistant Station Master or the ASM is the one who’s in charge of running and monitoring trains at a station. ASM is responsible for operating that signals that ensure that everything is done in the way they are meant to following all the rules and regulations.
Shift: An Assistant Station Master has to work in shift bases, however, the working period is 8 hours per day.
