Union Public Service Commission has released official notification for the recruitment of IAS, IFS, IPS & other posts. The recruitment for these posts is done in three rounds which are Prelims, Mains and Interview. This year UPSC has notified a total of 896 Vacancies. Educational Qualification
The candidates must have a degree (Graduation) of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Note: Candidates those who are pursuing graduation and are waiting for their final results can apply. But only on the condition that the result should be declared before filling the application for the mains exam.

The fees can be paid either by depositing the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using any Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card.
The selection process of civil services examination includes the following stage:-
1) Stage-I: Preliminary Examination
2) Stage-II: Mains Examination
3) Stage: Interview
Candidates who qualify preliminary examination have to register again for Mains examination. Marks scored in Prelims examination is only considered to select candidates to mains exam and not for final merit list. Those who qualify mains examination will be called for the final round. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the mains examination and Interview. Candidates will be allotted to the various Services according to their merit and preferences.
Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary examination shall comprise of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each.

• Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions).
• Each Paper will be of two hours duration.
