🔴INTERNATIONAL SOLAR ALLIANCE (ISA) IN NEWS 2021-22 🔴
🔶 Nepal signed a framework agreement to join the India-led International Solar Alliance. It is the 105th country to join ISA.
🔷 Antigua and Barbuda joined International Solar Alliance as 102nd member.
🔶 United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) granted observer status to International Solar Alliance by adopting resolution 76/123.
🔷 USA becomes 101st member country of International Solar Alliance (ISA).
🔶 4th ISA Gereral Assembly Concludes with promise to achieve USD 1 trillion global investments in solar energy by 2030.
🔷 Fourth General Assembly of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) has been organised virtually.
🔶 Germany becomes the 5th country to sign the International Solar Alliance Framework Agreement ( In 4 August 2021).
🔷 Sweden joins the International Solar Alliance ( In 26 July 2021).
🔶 Denmark signs framework agreement on the International Solar Alliance with India (23 June 2021).
🔷 Italy signs framework agreement on International Solar Alliance with India ( In 18 March 2021).
🔶 Dr Ajay Mathur elected new Director Genera of International Solar Alliance.
