🛑Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)🛑
▪️PM Narendra Modi on 9 May 2015 launched Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) in Kolkata, West Bengal.
▪️Objective : To provide protection and financial security to the poor.
▪️Eligibility - Bank Account holders within age group 18 – 50 years.
▪️Benefits/Life Cover : Rs 2 lakhs (in case of death for any reason).
▪️Premium : Rs 330 to be paid annually
▪️Maturity/Termination : Completion of 55 years (Age near Birthday)
▪️Note: In case a member is covered under PMJJBY with LIC of India / other company.
