Solution:

Chapter Name: Time and Work

Let B’s 1 day work = $\frac{1}{x}$

∴ A’s 1 day work = $\frac{1}{x}$ $\times$ $\frac{5}{2}$

Now, $\frac{2 x}{5}$ = x − 50

$\frac{3 x}{5}$ = 50

x = $\frac{250}{3}$

∴ Required days

$\frac{1}{\frac{3}{250} + \frac{3}{100}}$

$\frac{500}{6 + 15}$

$23 \frac{17}{21}$
