Let Amit's age be x years and Sushil's age = (x + 6) years.

Then, $\frac{x + 4}{( x + 6 ) + 4}$ = $\frac{3}{4}$

⇒ $\frac{x + 4}{x + 10}$ = $\frac{3}{4}$

⇒ 4(x + 4) = 3(x + 10) ⇒ x = 6

$∴$ Sushil's present age = (14 + 6) years = 20 years
