Let A, B, C, invest Rs 3x, Rs 4x, and Rs,5x initially.

Ratio of their investments

⇒ $[3 x \times 4 + \frac{1}{12} (4 x + 5 x) \times 8]$ : $(4 x \times 12)$ : $(5 x \times 12)$

⇒ $(12 x + \frac{9 x}{4} \times 8) : 48 x : 60 x$

⇒ $(12 x + 18 x) : 48 x : 60 x$

⇒ 30x : 48x : 60x

⇒ 5x : 8x : 10x

⇒ 23x = 9200

⇒ x = 400

B's share = Rs 400 $\times$ 8 = Rs 3200
